冷芯盒射芯機采用的是氣體硬化法，用樹脂射砂后，通以氣體使砂芯硬化。射芯機上另裝有通氣板，射砂慢盒后，將芯盒工作臺稍稍下降一段距離，在射頭與芯盒之間插入通氣板，再將芯盒與通氣板壓緊，這時由通氣板引入硬化氣體，從芯盒頂上的射孔引入砂芯，并穿過砂芯經(jīng)下面的排氣孔排出，經(jīng)過短時間通氣使砂芯硬化，砂芯硬化后，再通過通氣板通入空氣，使空氣穿過已硬化的砂芯，將殘留在砂芯中的有毒的硬化氣體沖洗除去，殘氣通過排氣孔排入專門的凈化裝置。
